cascadia apartments

This is a residential apartment development by Centum real estate within the 100 acre mixed use Two Rivers Development in Ruaka along Limuru Road. The apartment sits on a 3.5 acre piece of land and connects to both Two rivers mall and Limuru road via a driveway and bridge over river Ruaraka.

It entails the construction of five blocks each with 14 floors and 3 levels of basement parking. Each block also has 3 levels of cascading units facing the river. The main access to the development is through a 30m reinforced concrete integral bridge over river Ruaraka.

In addition to the blocks, there are additional four level parking blocks. The project has two bridges; a vehicle bridge and a pedestrian bridge. The former is a reinforced concrete integral bridge. The deck and bean are rigid fixed to the abutment and piers to create a fixed connection

This project comprised of 440 units designed to meet modern lifestyle demands. It was an affordable housing residential project located in Vipingo Ridge, Kilifi county.

It consisted of nine residential blocks of 3, 2 & 1 bedroom apartments. The buildings are 5 floors in height with a floor to floor height of 3m.

Dotted with expansive open spaces, the gated community is supported by amenities such as water, power, state of the art security installations, sewer connection, parking, children’s play area and a swimming pool.

el olam residences

This is a residential development located at Migaa Golf course estate Kiambu. We were commissioned to design and supervise the project that consists of eight villas, each with two storeys and four bedrooms. The villas are each set on an eight acre plot in a gated courtyard.

Our scope of work entailed civil and structural design. The design philosophy utilized load bearing walls and RC frame as the superstructure.

The development consists of fifty eight 3-bedroom maisonettes in an estate setting. The buildings are designed and done with masonry load bearing walls and are with complete services.

The project included residential apartments, parking, underground water tank, water tower, sewer and water reticulation and storm water drainage.

The structural system adopted for the apartments was load bearing concrete block walls. Concrete block walls were adopted since the region underlying rock is of coral origin and natural stones extracted from them produced low compressive strength.
